The Independent National Electoral Commission -INEC, in Adamawa State, Atiku’s home state, on Wednesday appealed to the 2021 voter’s cards registrants to go and collect their respective Permanent Voter Cards -PVCs at the various LGAs in the state.

The appeal was made in Yola by the INEC’s representative in the state, Malam Dahiru Jauro when he spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria -NAN.

Mallam Dahiru Jauro reported that only about 16,000 cards out of the total 56,000 cards printed by the commission between June and December 2021 had been collected by the registrants.

“The rest of the 40,000 PVCs are still to be collected”

“However, we will make sure that each of the PVCs is collected by those who registered for them,’’ he added.

Mallam Jauro had stressed.

Jauro then went on to tell NAN that INEC was currently engaging the print and electronic media, and traditional and religious leaders in enlightenment campaigns appealing to citizens who had registered to promptly come for their PVC collection.
