AC Milan sensationally overturned a two-goal deficit to see off arch-rivals Inter Milan in the Supercoppa Italiana final in Riyadh, Sérgio Conceição lifting his first piece of silverware in just his second game in charge.
Inter dominated the first half, and their captain Lautaro Martínez sealed the win just before the break, capping a move that involved Federico Dimarco, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Mehdi Taremi. Within seconds of the restart, Taremi had added a second with a deft finish after a lovely pass from Stefan de Vrij.
Milan struck back immediately when Théo Hernández sent a free-kick curling in that sparked their fightback. Christian Pulisic then drew even late, with a composed finish from inside to box. With extra time approaching, Rafael Leão fed the substitute Tammy Abraham to give Milan a tap-in winner, completing the dramatic turnaround.
The win gives city bragging rights in Milan, and Inter a painful sense of missed opportunities.
