Famous Nollywood actor, Kalu Egbui Ikeagwu has won the Best Actor Award at the 2023 The African Film Festival, TAFF for his part in a Ugandan collaborative film, ‘Kafacoh’.
This year’s film festival was held in Texas, US and it showcased African films produced in the diaspora. This is its eighth edition.
Kelechi Eke, the Founder and Director of The African Film Festival, had congratulated his colleagues and producers alike for their continual effort in portraying African stories.
Meanwhile, several filmmakers from various African countries and the US had attended the award ceremony.
