Just a day to the Presidential elections on Saturday, betrayals are already flying it for Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate. Umar Mustapha, the Governorship candidate of the Labour Party in Adamawa state has ditched the Labour Party, presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and has shifted his support and that of his supporters to the Presidential flag bearer of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

According to Umar, the heads of the Labour Party in Adamawa state are as corrupt as the system that he wants to be changed. He also said that from the structure of the Labour Party in the state, it’s apparent that the party will go nowhere in the state.

Umar’s action is not surprising, as he and his supporters did not attend the campaign rally for Peter Obi in the State.

Well, it seems that Umar also has several grievances against the Labour Party, as he said that the party sidelined him and made him not feel important.
