The African Democratic Congress, -ADC, on Thursday, October 27, raised alarm regarding the alleged vandalization of the ADC campaign billboards of candidates in Imo State by alleged agents of the state government.

The ADC National Vice Chairman South East, Mr. Chilos Godsent, made this known to news reporters in Owerri.

According to Mr. Godsent, one of the victims of the recent attacks was the ADC, House of Representatives Candidate for the Ikeduru/Mbaitoli federal constituency, Chinonso Ubah, whose campaign boards, flex banners and posters had been removed and destroyed. The destruction has been linked to persons who claimed to be operatives of the Imo State Signage and Advertisement Agency

The ADC political party has called on Senator Hope Uzodimma, the Imo State Governor, to call the miscreants/the operatives of IMSAA to order, and prevent them from further attacking the ADC candidate.

“Finally, henceforth, ADC will no longer condone or tolerate any type of aggression or attack on Chinonso Ubah or any other Member of ADC by the political thugs of the government of Imo State or her agencies under the guise of carrying out government functions.” Godwin had concluded.
