Ademola Adeleke, the governor of Osun State, has dedicated his Supreme Court triumph to God.
This was said by the governor in response to the Supreme Court’s decision recognizing his victory in the July 16, 2022 governorship election.
In its decision on Tuesday, the Supreme Court upheld Adeleke as the state’s governor.
“This is a watershed moment in Osun politics,” he remarked. Today is the day that our God has set apart for him to assert his authority as the owner and provider of power.
Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party received 403,371 votes, defeating then-incumbent Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress, who received 375,027 votes, according to the Independent National Electoral Commission.
