Flamingos have reinforced as they thrashed New Zealand 4-0, after conceding a 2-1 defeat to Germany in their match opener against Germany in the U-17 Women’s World Cup Tournament in India.
The Nigeria players got back on their feet, as they defeated New Zealand 4-0. Opeyemi Ajakaye, Flamingos striker put up a terrific performance in the match, as she was crowned the player of the match.
This gives Nigeria their first three points, and they stand a chance of qualifying for the quarter-finals in the tournament if they can Defeat Chile in Monday’s match, which is slated to take place in the Kalanga Stadium in Bhubaneswar.
Nigerians are eagerly expecting that the Flamingos will bring the cup home this time around.
