Ajax Amsterdam, Dutch Eredivisie Giants, has signed a deal with Glasgow Rangers for a transfer fee of €27m for Nigerian defender, Bassey.
Fabrizio Romano has announced that Bassey is ready for his medicals before signing the long-term deal with Ajax. This deal will make the Super Eagles defenseman the most expensive defensive signing in all of Champions League football history.
Ajax manager Alfred Schreuder handpicked Bassey to replace Lisandro, who joined Manchester United for €46m
Romano tweeted: “Calvin Bassey deal details: €22m fee guaranteed, €5m add-ons and resale clause around 10% of future sales. Long-term contract for Bassey, top commitment confirmed.”
