Kevin Akpoguma was missing in action as Bochum thrashed Hoffenheim 5-2 on Saturday’s
Bundesliga.
Philip Hoffman gave Bochum the lead in the 22nd minute, and Philip Foster doubled their lead later in the 30th minute.
Takuma Asano tripled the lead in the 40th minute, however, Baumgartner reduced the scoreline as he netted one for Hoffenheim. This didn’t Bochum as they continued their goal-scoring streak, Erhan Masovic made it 4-1, and Munas Dabbur scored another goal for Hoffenheim making it 4-2.
Broschinski sealed Bochum’s win as he netted the last goal in the 83rd minute.
