Another Nollywood Actor, Chikezie Uwazie, Dies After Brain Surgery

Yet again, Nollywood has been thrown into mourning, as another actor dies, Chikezie Uwazie, who died after undergoing a second brain surgery in the United States.

It’s been from one bad news to another in Nollywood, in the space of three days Nollywood has lost three actors. Chikezie’s death is coming after news of Saint Obi’s and Murphy Afolabi’s death were announced.

A colleague, Obey Etok announced Chikezie’s death. According to him, Chekezie died after undergoing a second brain surgery, and he received the news of his death from the Imo State University alumni platform.

She wrote, “I can’t imagine I’m posting this. Chikezie Uwazie is gone, After a 2nd brain surgery. Gini na emezi. I’m so shocked to get this news this evening. Just got this from our IMSU alumni platform.

“I can’t believe you are gone but God knows best. Rest on Chyko.”

Nollywood is mourning, three of its fine actors within a week. Several fans have expressed their displeasure over the deaths in Nollywood, this has led many to advise actors to prioritize their health.
