The judge has decided to shift the case untilthe 25th of February as Adeniyi Kayode requested more time to seek legal advice.

The accident occurred on the 29th of December when the Lexus SUV carrying Joshua hit a lorry on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway. Two of Joshua’s team members, namely his trainer, Latif Ayodele, and his strength and conditioning coach, Sina Ghami, were declared dead at the scene. Joshua, who was also in the car, was hospitalised with injuries but was discharged after two days.
