Dino Melaye, the spokesperson of the Atiku-Okowa presidential council and a former Senator, has revealed that the Peoples Democratic Party presidential campaign council was starved of funds because his political party was the target of the CBN naira redesign policy.
According to Melaye, cash has been given to the APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, as the APC party had distributed new notes on Election Day across the country while the opposition party, PDP was starved of funds.
Melaye had made the revelation via a video he released on Monday night, March 6 where he accused President Buhari’s administration of using the Naira swap policy to ensure that the ruling party, APC remained in power.
Melaye further stated that INEC had deceived Nigerians.
He also urged all PDP supporters and democracy supporters across the country not to let INEC get away with rigging the presidential elections.
