The national leadership of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, has launched a committee to amend offended party members in Abia and Imo States.
According to a press release signed by the national publicity secretary, Mr Ejimofor Opara, there was a purported crisis in the highlighted states.
This crisis had stemmed from the just concluded congress that threw up new leadership at the national and state levels.
In Opara’s words, the National Working Committee of APGA had as a result of the situation, approved for an immediate constitution of a Fact-finding and Reconciliation Committee for Abia and Imo States.
The committee will meet with the different congress committees appointed, to conduct the congresses in the states involved.
Additionally, town hall meetings will be held by committees to interface with the offended members and stakeholders in the aforementioned states, and then reports would be submitted to the National Working Committee within 21 days.
The committee includes: Prof Benard Odoh, the chairman, Chief Uche Nwegbo, the co-chairman, Hon Amala Anazodo, the Secretary, Ojiefi Jane Ejiofor and Deacon Samson Olalere as the members.
This is an effective plan to broker reconciliation, instead of running to social media to vent out grievances
