Arsenal fight back to beat Leeds 2-1 in the Premier League. Arsenal hit back from a goal down to beat Leeds United 2-1 in the Premier League and win for the eighth consecutive time in a row against the visitors, bringing to an end their undefeated start to the season.
Leeds started brightly at the Emirates Stadium, with David Raya making a string of crucial saves to keep Arsenal in the game. Jayden Bogle and Gabriel Gudmundsson had chances before the break, but the Gunners failed to create any clear openings against a well-organised visiting defence.
At the other end, James Trafford saved from Odegaard soon after the restart, and Leeds continued to look dangerous, with Raya palming over Ao Tanaka’s ferocious shot.
After the visitors eventually took the lead, James Justin had headed the ball towards the far post, allowing it to be thumped in behind Gabriel, who was at the other end of the pitch.

Arsenal did not take long to reply. Riccardo Calafiori was on the end of a rebound from Ben White, who headed across goal, and scored from six yards.
The equaliser changed the flow of the game to the home side’s advantage and the comeback was complete when Guimaraes finished off a sweet flick from Rice into the far corner.
Late on, Odegaard had another attempt, which was well saved by Trafford.
The win meant Mikel Arteta remained unbeaten versus Daniel Farke in five games and lifted Arsenal level on points with Manchester City at the Premier League summit, at least until next week.
