The world cup is over, we are back to league matches. Mikel Arteta has said that Arsenal will be very active in the January transfer window to see that the team is strengthened considering Gabriel Jesus’ absence from the team.
Gabriel Jesus has been super amazing since he joined Arsenal in the last transfer window, because Arsenal has grown dependent on his skills, and prowess, they’ll need to find an alternative player, pending when Gabriel Jesus will fully recovers from his Injury.
According to Arteta, they are going to be very active in the transfer market to strengthen the team.
He further said that they might have the luxury of maximizing every transfer window but they’ll to maximize this one as it is really important, to get the right player that’ll help win the EPL
“We are going to be active and active means we are looking to strengthen the team,” said Arteta,
“This squad still does not have the luxury of not maximizing every single window. We have to do that because it is really important. But then we have to get the right profile, it has to be the right player to take us to the next level.”
It’s been a whole turnaround for Arsenal in the EPL before the break, as they currently lead the EPL table with 37 points while Man City closely trails them with 32 points. It is very safe to say that they are strong contenders for the EPL title, however, the question is if Arsenal can continue their winning spree as the EPL resumes. So we can understand that Mikel Arteta wants to maximize the January transfer market to strengthen his squad.
