If we can recall, on Thursday we heard the unfortunate news that Pablo Mari, Arsenal’s player on loan to Monza was stabbed by a madman in the supermarket.
Mari who accompanied his family to the supermarket in Milan on Thursday was attacked and stabbed in the back. Five other persons were attacked and one person died.
Mari was immediately scheduled for surgery as they had to construct the injured muscles at the back. After the surgery, Mari took to his social media to update the public about his welfare.
According to Mari, he and his family are fine, he also thanked fans for the support they’ve shown him.
He also sent his condolences to the family of the deceased who died in the attack and also wished the injured ones a quick recovery.
“After the hard moment we experienced yesterday, both my family and I want to communicate that fortunately, we are all fine despite the circumstances,” Mari wrote on Twitter on Friday afternoon.”
“We want to thank all the messages of support and affection that we are receiving.
Mari Might Not feature for Monza for the remaining part of the year, as the club disclosed that it might two months of rest for Mari to return to the pitch
“This type of muscle injury usually requires two months of rest before one can resume physical activities,” the club said in an official statement on Friday.”
