Gabriel Jesus was the main figure in the game with two goals. Inter scored a stunner through Petar Sucic’s equaliser, while Viktor Gyökeres wrapped up the victory with a fine finish after a clever pass from Gabriel Martinelli in the last minutes.

Pep Guardiola’s Man City had a very tough game in Norway as they were beaten by Bodo/Glimt with a score of 3-1. Kasper Høgh was able to score two times in a very fast first half that led to the home team getting the upper hand, and then in the second half, after Rodri was given a red card, Man City had no chance of coming from behind as Bodo/Glimt celebrated a memorable European victory.
Real Madrid defeated Monaco 6-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu. Mbappe netted a brace against his former club, taking his UCL tally to 11 goals. Vinicius Junior and youngster Franco Mastantuono were also on the scoresheet, thus a dominating performance from the 15-time European champions.
In Lisbon, Sporting CP beat holders Paris Saint-Germain 2-1 in a very eventful and dramatic game. Luis Suarez celebrated a double, the last being after Kvaratskhelia had leveled the score for PSG briefly, thus capped a night to remember for the Portuguese side.
At the same time, Tottenham reduced the pressure on their manager Thomas Frank by winning 2-0 at home against Borussia Dortmund, which was greatly facilitated by the visitors’ red card. Olympiacos defeated Bayer Leverkusen 2-0, Ajax narrowly beat Villarreal 2-1 away, Napoli and FC Copenhagen played out a 1-1 draw, while Club Brugge demolished Kairat Almaty 4-1.
