Naledi Roberts, a 17 years old babysitter was arrested and charged with child abuse, after lighting marijuana and forcing the one-year-old baby she was babysitting to inhale the marijuana while making a video of it.

She was immediately arrested by The Pinellas County Sheriff on Friday after the video was intercepted.

On interrogation she confessed to smoking, and that she forced the baby who was her friend’s baby to inhale it, although she refused to state the reason why she performed the such act.

“She initially admitted to smoking marijuana near the toddler who she was babysitting for her friend, the mother of the child. Still, after officers confronted her with the footage, she admitted to placing the cigarette in the victim’s mouth.

She has been charged with one count of Felony Child Abuse and has been taken to Pinellas Juventus Assessment Centre.

A similar issue has happened in  Nigerian, why a guy gave a cigarette to a baby, the post trended on Twitter, and Nigerians dragged security agencies over the video, as they questioned the efficiency of our security agencies seeing how much video circulated. The Nigerian police responded to the claim and said that they are searching for the culprit.
