A shocking discovery was made when two students of the Federal Polytechnic, Bida, Niger State, were found dead in a room at the FMC Quarters in Bida town, within the Bida Local Government Area of the state.
The lifeless bodies of the students, who have now been simply identified as Mr Bam for the male, and Aisha for the female student, were allegedly discovered on Sunday morning when they were not be seen after daybreak.
According to a reports the death of the duo were being linked to them consuming poisonous food, leading to their death.
Meanwhile, the Niger State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Wasiu Abiodun, has on Monday, confirmed this incident.

SP Abiodun had further disclosed that the upon receipt of the complaint, the DPO of B Division, Bida, led police operatives to the scene. The door to the room was forcefully opened, and it was discovered that the bodies were lying on the floor in the sitting room.
“A leftover food and some tablets were discovered at the scene and were taken for medical analysis.
“There was no sign of struggle or any mark of violence observed on the bodies. The corpses were removed to the FMC Bida for autopsy. The incident is under investigation.” He concluded
