Thomas Tuchel was relieved of his duties as Chelsea’s manager on Wednesday, due to the club’s performances in the ongoing Premier League, considering how much they’ve spent in the transfer market before it closed, making them the club with the highest spending in a single transfer window, much better was expected from the team.
According to BILD Bohely sacked Tuchel with these words “We want to make a new start”. Reports have it that Tuchel was so shocked, and begged Bohely to reconsider and give him another chance to work on the team.
It is very possible that Chelsea’s defeat to Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League on Tuesday contributed to the reasons why he was sacked.
Chelsea currently ranks sixth on the premier league table with ten points, due to their ‘not so good’ start in the EPL this season.
