After a period of self-discipline and spiritual devotion, the Muslim Ramadan fast has concluded, heralding a time of joyous celebration and festivity for followers of the Islamic faith.
In celebration of this solemn season. Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has officially announced Tuesday and Wednesday as public holidays in honor of this occasion.
In his congratulatory message to the Muslim community, Tunji-Ojo emphasized the importance of embodying the values of kindness, love, tolerance, peace, good neighborliness, and compassion, as demonstrated by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him).
He extended warm wishes for a joyous Eid-el-Fitr celebration to all members of the Muslim Ummah and prayed for the peace, blessings, and favor of Allah upon everyone and the nation as a whole.
Additionally, Tunji-Ojo encouraged Nigerians to uphold the spirit of unity to foster peace and harmony throughout the country.
