The saying “Nothing lasts forever” has proven to be true as former President Muhammadu Buhari had earlier today, handed over to his successor, President Tinubu as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
True to the protocols, the ex-President relocated to his hometown immediately after the handover ceremony. He was seen waving a goodbye to Nigerians as he boarded the plane with his wife.
As of the time of writing this report, ex-President Buhari has arrived in his hometown, Daura, in Katsina state with his wife, and he was well received by a crowd of people, welcoming their son back to his roots after eight years of ruling the country.
