Chelsea have been slammed by a number of supporters after the London club celebrated Enzo Fernandez’s World Cup goal against England. Fernandez’s side made a dramatic comeback after going 1-0 down in the FIFA World Cup semi-final.
England took an early lead, but their hopes were ended as Argentina completed the turnaround, 2-1, to set up a final against France.
Following the victory, Chelsea posted a tweet about their player’s equaliser and was soon met with anger from some of their fans.

It has since been claimed that the Blues deleted the tweet as the backlash intensified, whilst many England fans are livid with their nation being dumped out of the World Cup by a team including one of Chelsea’s own players.
In other news, Chelsea’s World Cup ace ‘wants to live in Spain’ amid Real Madrid interest. Chelsea have continued to be hit with uncertainty surrounding the future of Enzo Fernandez this term, with the Argentina international strongly linked with a transfer to Real Madrid.
The player has made his desire to move to Spain’s capital known previously, and that has led to him becoming one of Los Blancos’ targets, despite reports that they have not made an offer nor held discussions over him. However, speculation persists despite Real Madrid’s stance, as Fernandez has a contract until 2032 with the Blues.
