It’s been all joy for Chelsea fans as Chelsea defeated AC Milan in the second leg, of the champions league Game on Tuesday night. Chelsea initially defeated Milan in the reverse fixture last week at Stamford Bridge.
The game was very fierce as both teams struggled for supremacy, with Milan obviously trying not to let last week’s defeat repeat itself.
AC Milan defender, Fikayo Tomori was given a red card, after he fouled Chelsea’s player, Mason Mount, thereby reducing Milan’s numerical strength.
Jorghino scored the first goal for Chelsea putting them in the lead, Chelsea capitalized on Milan’s numerical weakness, as Pierre Emerick Aubameyang fired another shot to make it 2-0 after receiving an assist from Mason mount. The first half ended with Chelsea in the lead with two goals to nothing.
Milan’s failure to equalize, gave Chelsea victory over the match, as they confidently sealed their second win in the Champions League.
Chelsea fans have taken to their social media to applaud Graham Potter Chelsea’s newly signed manager for reviving the team, as they are now top of their group in the Champions League and currently occupy the sixth position in the EPL table.
