Ray Palour, has said that it is very likely that Chelsea might not make the top four, in the upcoming premier league. Chelsea is going through a very tough time as it seems every contract to sign a new defender is always sabotaged. Just recently their contract to sign Jules Kounde didn’t work out, as Barcelona signed the player rather.

According to Palour, Manchester City will win the Premier League again, as they seem the most prepared for the upcoming premier league, closely followed by Liverpool, and Arsenal will have to compete for the third position and Spurs fourth. According to him, Chelsea is going to struggle, unless they can sign good players before the transfer window closes.

“I would go to Manchester City to win it. Then Liverpool. I think Arsenal has to aim for third. That’s going to be their aim. If they can keep everyone fit, one more player coming in, then they have a decent squad,” Parlour told talkSPORT.

“So I am going to go third for Arsenal and then Spurs will be good [for fourth]. But I think Chelsea is going to struggle this season. Unless they make some signings, they might make a couple before the window closes, and then you might change your mind. However, Spurs have to win a trophy.”

Parlour’s prediction about Chelsea might just be true, as Chelsea’s performance in the preseason games has been woeful, considering their 4-0 defeat by Arsenal.  Ray Palour is an ex-professional football player and currently a sports radio commentator for BBC Radio Live and talksport.
