Chelsea is on the verge of signing Crystal Palace’s Maxence Lacroix, as Newcastle United looks to snap up Borussia Dortmund ace Felix Nmecha with the summer transfer window in full flow.

According to French sources, a transfer for Lacroix, valued at roughly 55 million(47.4m), is said to be imminent as the French international has impressed during Les Bleus FIFA World Cup stint.

The London club is also nearing completion of the acquisition of Atalanta right-back Marco Palestra, who apparently completed his medical in London.

Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United have identified Borussia Dortmund midfielder Felix Nmecha on their list of desired players to bolster the current setup, and a bid worth 55 million from Premier League rival Arsenal for Bruno Guimaraes has been turned down.

Manchester United and Chelsea are amongst the list of contenders, along with Arsenal, for the signature of Sporting CP left back Maxi Araujo. He was subject to serious scrutiny due to his sterling display for the Lisbon-based outfit this year, so watch this space.

Elsewhere, Spurs manager Roberto De Zerbi desires Antonin Kinsky to occupy the top position in the sticks, and the Lilywhites are apparently open to offers of Guglielmo Vicario, the existing top dog at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium.

Moving over to Italy, Marseille attacking ace Mason Greenwood is said to prefer a move to Serie A power house, Roma, ahead of rival Interest from Fenerbahce and Al-Hilal, with the Italian giants tabling a transfer bid worth 50 million.

AC Milan has secured an agreement to land Goncalo Ramos from Paris Saint-Germain in what would be a club record fee for the Parisians.

MLS outfit, Atlanta United, has already initiated contact regarding the transfer of the captain of Atlético Madrid, Koke. Ajax also have their eyes on Barcelona’s Marc-Andre ter Stegen to bolster its defensive structure with a reliable goalkeeper in their sights.
