Chelsea female teams win the FA Cup for the fourth time. The team beat Man City with a 3 – 2 scoreline. The team did this in front of 49,094 fans at the Wembley stadium. This is a new record for the Women’s FA cup final.
Both teams were dominant in the match and they both put pressure on themselves. Chelsea player, Kerr scored the opening goal of the match in the 33rd minute in the game. Man City followed up with a goal from Hemp in the 49th minute.
In the second half, Cuthbert scored another goal for Chelsea in the 63rd minute, putting Chelsea in the lead again. But Raso equalized the scoreline for Man City in the 89th minute.
Time became a ticking bomb as both teams struggle to get the winning goal. However, Kerr put the ball in the back of the net again in the 99th minute of the game.
The match ended 3 – 2, making Chelsea the champions of the FA Cup for a fourth time under coach Emma Hayes.
