Todd Bohely is very excited and has expressed his joy over the signing of Carney Chukwuemeka, an Austrian-born Nigerian. Chukwuemeka was signed from Aston Villa for €20 million for a six-year deal.
Rumour has it that Barcelona, Ac Milian and Borussia Dortmund were also interested in the player.
According to Bohely, they are very excited to have him in Chelsea, as he is such a talented young force and they highly expect much from him.
“Carney is one of the most exciting young players in Europe so we are really looking forward to seeing him at Stamford Bridge,” Boehly said.
“We are delighted to be able to bring him to Chelsea and add such a talented young individual to our squad for the new season and beyond.”
Chukwuemeka is currently in London with his family and agents undergoing his medicals. The England national player currently captains the U19 squad and can decide to play for Nigeria if he so desires.
