Chidimma Adetshina is the new queen and Miss Universe Nigeria 2024. The 23 year old law student’s journey to the crown was rough, she withdrew from Miss South Africa 2024 pageant due to xenophobic reactions over her Nigerian nationality.
Adetshina represented Taraba State and emerged winner in a keenly contested pageant of 25 contestants. The grand finale held at Eko Hotels & Suites in Lagos with Guy Murray-Bruce, President of Silverbird Group, the organizers of the pageant announcing the winner.
Her win is well deserved especially after the struggles she faced in South Africa, showing great strength.
