In Vladivostok – Russia’s far eastern port city, two Chinese Coast Guard ships have arrived for joint military drills and patrols with Russian forces. The exercise, designated as “Pacific Patrol 2024,” comes after last week’s joint naval drills held in the Sea of Japan.
“The Chinese Coast Guard ships Meishan and Xiushan are visiting Vladivostok,” the local branch of the Russian foreign ministry said. A welcoming ceremony for the flotilla was held, with plans for joint exercises and patrols during its stay.
