American singer and model Chloe Bailey has revealed the reason behind her decision to keep her love life away from the public eye.
The Have Mercy crooner, who has been romantically linked to Nigerian superstar Burna Boy, said she prefers to keep her relationship private to avoid people using it to question her artistry or distract from her music career.
During a recent livestream, a fan asked Chloe why she no longer shares details about her romantic life, prompting her to explain her decision.
“I decided to keep my relationship private because people on the internet tend to take advantage of it to discredit my music career and all,” she said.
Chloe and Burna Boy were first linked in late 2024 after she visited Lagos, where the pair were spotted together on several occasions, including a collaborative music session.
While reports from early 2025 confirmed that the two had been dating, their current relationship status remains uncertain.
