Manchester United Midfielder Christain Eriksen, who was removed in United’s match against Reading is not expected to the back till April.
According to the club’s statement, he sustained an ankle injury during their victory against Reading and had to be withdrawn from the match in the second half.
And according to medical reports, Eriksen will be out for three months as the injury seem to be pretty serious.
“The club’s statement said, “Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen is expected to be out of action for an extended period because of an ankle injury sustained in our Emirates FA Cup victory over Reading on Saturday.
“Our Danish midfielder was withdrawn in the second half of the 3-1 win after being caught by a tackle from Reading striker Andy Carroll, who was later sent off for two bookable offenses.”
“While investigations are continuing, initial assessments indicate that Eriksen is likely to be out until late April or early May,” they added in their statement.
This is a big blow for Manchester United as Eriksen is a formidable Midfielder, he has scored 11 goals and Nine Assists in 31 games for Manchester United, considering Manchester United’s winning streak they can’t afford to lose a formidable player, however, United still have Fred and Mac Tominay
United has been performing well since the EPL resumed as they’ve only lost a match, and it seems the team is becoming more formidable, all thanks to Erik Ten Hag, the way things are going man United might break their title drought.
Although Eriksen might not feature for United till April, United has capable legs in the midfield, and the United we know is gradually coming back to its form.
