Famous Nigerian comedian, Ayodeji Makun, popularly known as AY, has spoken up for the first time since the fire outbreak incident occurred in his house.

AY had revealed that the only belongings he had left with him were those he traveled with before his house was razed.

Recall that the comedian’s Lagos residence was ravaged by fire early this month.

Bemoaning his predicament in a post on the microblogging platform X, AY had expressed how devastated he had felt since losing his possessions.

In a video the comedian posted on social media capturing the renovation of the house, he had said:
“It feels weird to discover that the only shoes, jewelry and clothes I have right now, at hand, are the ones I traveled out with. But we keep moving forward. There is no such thing as going back to square one.”
