Davido had announced through his social media accounts that he would be releasing a new song on the 13th of May, 2022. This song would be the first song of his next album and it is titled “Stand strong”.
He claims that it would mark the beginning of a new phase. He also said that the song is special to him and it would be different from what he has been doing as his mindset has been different.
“This one is special to me. It’s different. The conception has been different. The mindset has been different. The making has been different. I know you love it when I make you dance, but now I want to make you feel. This one’s for everyone out there holding it up.”
