Emmanuel Dennis, Nottingham’s forest player, disclosed that Ronaldinho, ex-Barcelona, and Brazilian legendary player have always been his football icon, whilst he was growing up.

Dennis who just recently transferred from Watford to Nottingham Forest has 10 goals and 6 assists to his name in 33 appearances for Watford last season.

According to Emmanuel, Ronaldinho inspired him to play football. He revealed that he admired everything about Ronaldinho, including his incredible talent on the field. He also revealed that just like Ronaldinho football is fun to him. Unlike other footballers, Emmanuel does not have a target, he just plays and expresses himself on the field

“My idol growing up was Ronaldinho,” Dennis told the club’s official website.

“He’s the reason I’m a footballer today.”

“I just love everything about that guy and his talent with a football inspires me a lot. When I play, I just like to entertain people and have fun.”

“I like to nutmeg people. I had the most nutmegs in Europe last season which was crazy.

“I just love to have fun on the pitch, but I also want to score goals and add assists.

“I don’t really set targets, I just like to go and play and express myself.”
