Recently, Nigerian actor Deyemi Okanlawon has raised concern over the spate of sudden deaths that has befell several actors lately. He made this known on his social media page following the sudden demise of Onyeka Onwenu and Yoruba vlogger Afobaje who both met their untimely demise after collapsing.
According to Deyemi, he has come across at least five similar cases within the past one week. He asked whether proper investigations and autopsies were being conducted to determine why people were dying suddenly.
His remarks have raised questions about the specifications of medical examinations and draws attention to the fact that one should not disregard health problems, especially in the entertainment industry.
