Arsenal and England winger, Bukayo Saka has asked not to be compared with French player, Kylian Mbappe, in the 2022 ongoing world cup.
Saka has been impressive for England at the world cup, and so has Kylian Mbappe too, who is currently the top goal scorer in the world cup, with five goals to his name for France. The duo will be facing each other, as England is to play France in the quarter-finals of the 2022 world cup.
When asked if he is the English version of Kylian Mbappe, he replied that he doesn’t want to be compared with Mbappe, as there is only one Mbappe and only one Saka.
He further said that his major focus is to help England in the world cup as other young players are doing well at the world cup.
Asked if he is England’s version of the French attacker, he told reporters: “Thanks, but no. I think there’s only one Mbappe – and only one me.
“I just want to help my team. There are a lot of young players doing well, including in our team.
“The priority is to win the tournament, not player of the tournament or young player of the tournament.”
