It’s the transfer season again, and every club is trying to hold on tight to the good players they have. Borussia Dortmund Boss, Edin Terzic has urged Bellingham to stay in the club despite several offers from top European clubs.
Borussia Dortmund has always been known to have good players, as Bellingham wasn’t the only player who had several offers, Haaland, and Jason Sancho, who are all doing big things for their respective clubs transferred from Borussia Dortmund.
However, Terzic wants Bellingham to stay back in Dortmund as he believes that they still need to be worked on, and if he can keep the youngsters in the club, they might be able to help the club win titles.
“I believe that we need to work on keeping these young guys one year longer,” Terzic told The Athletic. “In my first season, I was able to put Jadon, Jude, and Erling on the pitch, but that was their only year together. “That was also partly due to COVID-19 and empty stadiums, there were financial considerations. But if we can get to the point where it’s two or three years of such a trio, maybe we can break the mold.”
