It was a historic day for the Paris Saint-Germain football team as they won the UEFA Champions League for the first time in their history, they did so brilliantly by demolishing Inter Milan with a score of 5-0, and the driving force of the win was the outstanding performance of Désiré Doué.
The young Frenchman, who is only 19 years old, was the scorer of two goals and he made a successful assist, which helped PSG in achieving the title of champion after the splendid season they had been through.
Vitinha initiated the early game with a great pass to Doué, who then in turn set up Achraf Hakimi for the first goal against his former club. A few moments later, Doué made it two from a deflected shot after a brilliant control from Ousmane Dembélé. Even though Inter was unable to equalize the game, they still got some great opportunities where Francesco Acerbi and Marcus Thuram missed, whereas Dembélé and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia were an actual threat to the Italian team.
The second half did not give anything to Inter still feeling the same while it was granted to them through Doué who was able to score his second of the night after a pass from Vitinha and Kvaratskhelia who took it to the next level, other side, the first Georgian to find the net in the UCL final, added a fourth.
The teenager Senny Mayulu is the one who is on the score card with a goal that made it 7-0, PSG’s triumph which helped France to win the UEFA Champions League after 31 years, thus, completing Luis Enrique’s dream season.
