A 5.4 magnitude earthquake has hit the mountainous region in western Montenegro on Thursday morning, the US Geological Survey –USGS (country’s Institute of Hydrometeorology and Seismology) reported.
The epicentre of the earthquake was in the Pluzine area, about 30 km (18.64 miles) from Montenegro’s city of Niksic, and not a long way from the border with neighboring Bosnia, the USGS data showed.

As at the time if this reporting, at snout 9:00am, there were no immediate reports on casualties or damages.
The earthquake is reported to have also been felt in neighboring Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, and Albania.
