The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has recently announced that it had bagged 3,328 convictions from January to November 2022.
Abdulrasheed Bawa, the commission’s chairman disclosed this in Port Harcourt, Rivers State capital, at a training workshop for journalists in the Niger Delta region.
Bawa had also spoken on the recent court order the agency secured, for the forfeiture of N775 million and landed properties traced to two former government officials,
The commission additionally pointed out the current figure of its success, claiming that it surpassed those 2,220 convictions it recorded in 2021 and the 1,282 convictions. It was secured in 2020.
