EFL Cup Fourth-Round Draw: Manchester City to Make Trip to Tottenham

The draw for the fourth round of the EFL Cup has been carried out and we have been guaranteed some mouth-watering clashes, with Manchester City heading to Tottenham Hotspur while defending champions Liverpool are due for the acid test of Brighton at the Amex Stadium.

Another tie throws up Aston Villa against Crystal Palace in an all-Premier League encounter as Chelsea await the winner between AFC Wimbledon and Newcastle.

The round pits Championship side Preston North End against the visit of Arsenal to Deepdale, while Manchester United seek to continue their cup run as they welcome Leicester City to Old Trafford.

Elsewhere, Southampton host Stoke City at St Mary’s, and Brentford will welcome Sheffield Wednesday to the Gtech Community Stadium.

The fixtures are set to take place during the week commencing Monday, October 28th, setting up a week of high-octane action in England’s domestic cup competition.

EFL Cup Fourth-Round Fixtures:
  1. – Brentford vs Sheffield Wednesday
  2. – Southampton vs Stoke
  3. – Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester City
  4. – AFC Wimbledon or Newcastle vs Chelsea
  5. – Manchester United vs Leicester City
  6. Brighton & Hove Albion vs Liverpool
  7. Preston North End vs Arsenal
  8. Aston Villa vs Crystal Palace

These were some mouth-watering matches that one could expect from the further round of the EFL Cup, which has been nothing short of drama and excitement.
