Collations of election results are still ongoing, but it seems some parties are having non of it, Dino Melaye, yesterday questioned the authenticity of the election results and also accused INEC of plotting with APC to win the elections.
The Vice Presidential Candidates of the People’s Democratic Party and the Labour Party, Ifeanyi Okowa and Datti-Baba Ahmed held a joint press conference in Abuja on Tuesday, to express their displeasure at the way the Collation of the election results is being carried out.
They demanded that the INEC chairman, Mahmoud Yakubu should investigate the irregularities in the election results to restore the integrity and dignity of the Independent National Electoral Commission.
Governor Ifeanyi Okowa particularly described the election as a sham that was never free and fair.
Speaking at a press briefing in Abuja, the vice-presidential candidate of the PDP, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State said “the election was a sham, and never free and fair.”
