Enugu State denizens have ignored the state government’s directives to resume activities and ignore the Monday compulsory sit-at-home order issued by the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, as roads, schools, banks, markets and other public places were completely deserted.
Recall that the state governor, Peter Mbah had on June 1, declared a“no more sit-at-home in Enugu directive”, to be effected today, Monday, June 5, urging individuals and corporate organizations to ensure a full-scale business activity in the state on that day.
According to Mbah, the order diminishes the creativity and productivity of the Enugu State people.
Meanwhile, the residents, as at the time of writing this report, have been indoors and it is yet unclear if commercial activities will pick up before the end if the day.
