Ex-Chelsea striker, Karen Carney was not so impressed with Ndidi’s performance in Leicester City’s 3-1 defeat against Manchester City, as she described his performance as a “nightmare”
Ndidi’s handball allowed Manchester City to score a second goal, initially the referee did not want to award a penalty to Manchester City but he changed his mind after consulting VAR.
According to Carney, She said that Ndidi’s performance was like a nightmare, and he said that he was not careful enough around Jack Grealish which led to the handball.
“She disclosed to Premier League Production, “He [Ndidi] had a bit of a nightmare the whole game, to be honest
At least, I don’t know what he is thinking. He is there, one-on-one with [Jack] Grealish.
“He knows he’s going to get to the byline, a cross is coming in. As soon as Jack crossed it, I think we all said that is a penalty.
Many have criticized Ndidi for the handball he caused, and many have said that it’s just a mistake that any player can make.
