On Sunday night, the Big Brother Naija season 7 hosted its fourth live eviction episode, during which a fictitious housemate named Modella bid the other players farewell.
The news was made during the live program, which also featured an electrifying performance from Alpha P, by the evening’s host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu. Amaka received a strike from Big Brother before the live show for violating the house rules regarding the unauthorized use of the microphone.
Chomzy chose Eloswag to serve as her deputy after becoming the first female Head of House earlier in the week.
After the two levels were combined, Big Brother changed the HOH’s ability to block nominations of housemates for potential eviction. Therefore, each housemate was invited to choose a male or female candidate for consideration.
In a shocking turn of events, Big Brother canceled the nominations and declared that all of the housemates—aside from the HOH and the DHOH—would be eligible for elimination.
Biggie, however, had other ideas because it turned out that the true eviction for the week was the eviction of a fake housemate named Modella. Ebuka invited the fake housemate to come forward during the live program, and when Modella did, the entire house was caught off guard.
Ebuka then declared that Modella had been eliminated from the competition.
Christy O, Cyph, Khalid, Ilebaye, Kess, and Pharmsavi have so far been evicted from BBNaija season 7 of the reality television series. Beauty Tukura, the former Miss Nigeria, was eliminated from Big Brother after receiving three strikes for violating the house rules. There are now only 17 actual housemates left in the show after Modella’s expulsion.
While Rachel and Chizzy are Riders, Deji is a fictitious flatmate.
