Erik Ten Hag has finally spoken concerning Manchester United’s terrible defeat by Brentford. He advised his players to tighten up their belts and stop feeling sorry for themselves or him.
As we all know, Manchester United is currently at the bottom in the premier league games, a disaster that has never occurred in the last thirty years. The fault definitely didn’t come from Ten Hag, as he has a beautiful record in Ajax, before taking up this job. Before the match with Brentford, he made them train extra hard. A lot of things contributed to their loss, weak defense, and lack of confidence amongst others.
According to Ten Hag, the squad has to own up to their mistake. He further disclosed that he told the team to play with confidence, but it seems they didn’t heed his advice
“The team has to take the responsibility. I feel sorry for the fans.
“I asked them to play with belief and take responsibility, that is what they didn’t do”, Ten Hag told Sky Sports.”
