Nigerian billionaire businessman Femi Otedola recently offered heartfelt guidance to his daughter, Temi, and her husband, singer Oluwatosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi, during their August 2025 wedding reception.
Temi and Mr Eazi tied the knot in a private ceremony in Iceland, following two earlier celebrations. The couple first held a wedding in Monaco on May 9, coinciding with Mr Eazi’s late mother’s birthday, and later hosted a Yoruba traditional ceremony at the Otedola family residence in Dubai in July.
In a video from the August reception that is currently making the rounds, Otedola spoke warmly about the couple’s love and shared entrepreneurial spirit, describing their union as “made in heaven.”
He encouraged Temi to prioritise her marriage above everything else, saying, “You found a great guy, very great guy, blessed guy. He’s come from a very decent family. One thing I’ll advise you… you have to succumb to the whims and caprices of your husband. Okay? He’s your husband, he’s your boss. There’s no more dad, don’t call me up.”
Otedola also highlighted the couple’s compatibility, noting their shared drive and love.
“One thing I like about both of you and I’ve observed is, you’re truly in love with each other. Truly, truly in love with each other. Temi is an entrepreneur. Tosin is an entrepreneur. So you match each other. This is made in heaven. For Tosin, you’re going to go places. I’ve seen the entrepreneurial skill in you. When we were much younger, we used to think we used to hustle, but not like your generation. You are hustlers, real hustlers. And it’s always paid off. Continue to love, Temi.”
He also advised the couple to manage disagreements privately, stating, “When you have issues, problems, just keep it within yourself. Never call any friend that have this problem. Just keep it within your walls. And God will bless you and bless your marriage.”
Concluding his speech, Otedola presented the couple with a wedding gift, explaining his choice. “I thought of what should I give this couple as a present. I thought, I’ve splintered my savings account. I brought my gift. This gift I present to you. You go out to the world. You’re both entrepreneurs. Out-think, out-manoeuvre, and out-spend. You’ll be great people. This is my gift for you. I thank you all and I wish you safe travels back to various places you’ve come from. God bless you all. I love you all.”
