Temmie Ovwasa, a Nigerian Singer formerly known as YBNL Princess, has narrated her ordeal in the hands of former record label boss, Olamide and his wife, Aisha Adebukunmi.
The Kwara-born songstress had remarked that his label boss’s wife had turned her to an errand girl when she was signed to YBNL.
Ms Ovwasa has also alleged that Adebukunmi had disgraced her publicly every time they went out together, and abusing her by calling her “poor.”
Ovwasa had not stopped there as she had also accused the former YBNL in-house producer, Pheelz of carelessly misplacing a hard drive that contained her unreleased album.
Ovwasa had taken to her official Instagram page to make this disclosure.
She had posted on her story:
“I came into the music industry to sing. Olamide proudly showcased me as the ‘YBNL princess’ but once the cameras were off I would be stuck in a house with his disrespectful and classist wife who made it her objective to remind me that I was an indigent girl that they brought from Ilorin to change her story. Olamide’s wife would make sure to humiliate me publicly whenever I go out with her.”
“I recorded more than 25 songs only for Pheelz to tell me that he misplaced the hard drive the songs were in. Imagine 25 songs!!!!! I spent 5 years at that label and I only released 4 songs!”
“I have recorded and released three albums since I left those people. I have a lot of songs that I could drop an album every week if I wanted!”
