There is a current fuel scarcity in Zamfara State, with many filling stations being under lock and key.
Newsmen had observed that most filling stations in Gusau, Kaura Namoda, Tsafe and other places were not selling the commodity.
It has been reported that as a result of the situation, a liter of fuel is being sold at between N800 and N850.
The best efforts of the newsmen to speak with some Independent oil marketers had proven abortive as they declined commenting on the matter.
Meanwhile, across the state, vehicle drivers and motorcycle riders, were spotted lamenting and expressing dismay over the long queues now seen at the open filling stations.
